June 2002 – New Medical was founded. Principal investors include the management team, Taiwan small to medium medical industry companies, and professional doctors. The company sets a goal to provide next generation diagnostic imaging devices.
May 2003 – Completed research and development of medical X-ray detector products, and started bringing the products to market for clinical testing.
Oct 2004 – Successfully completed installation in hospitals in Taiwan and China; products ready for export to limited markets.
Dec 2005 – Pass ISO 13485 quality Management system certification.
Mar 2006 – Compliance with guidelines for Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) manufacturing according to Department of Health. Pass GMP audit.
July 2006 – Saturn 9000 and Saturn 9000-810 receive FDA 510(k) certification.
Jan 2007 – Pass ISO 9001:2000, ISO 13485, CMDCAS (ISO 13485:2003) quality management system certifications.
Nov 2007 – Saturn 9000-550 and Saturn 9000-750 receive FDA 510(k) certification.
Dec 2007 – Bronze award recipient at the “1st Taiwan Healthcare Industry Innovation and Excellence Awards”, hosted by Executive Yuan.
Jan 2008 – Saturn 9000, Saturn 9000-550, and Saturn 9000-750 pass 93/42/EEC certification, receive CE Mark.
Oct 2008 – Relocate headquarters to Neihu Science and Technology Park.
Jan 2009 – Pass ISO 90001:2000, ISO 13485, CMDCAS (ISO 13485:2003) quality management system certifications; pass 93/42/EEC certification.
Feb 2009 – Pass UL certification for Saturn 9000, Saturn 9000-550, and Saturn 9000-750.
